Finding Local Resources in your new neighborhood

When a tenant moves from one area to another, the big and small details of life change. All of the businesses the tenant used to frequent several times a month will be replaced by all new businesses and this page will address how to find new local resources to meet the tenant?s needs.

Most important Local Resources

The tenant must first identify what local resources will be most important to the tenant?s life. If the tenant has a job with a formal dress code, then finding a laundry mat or a dry cleaner would be very important so the tenant can wear proper work attire to the office each day. If night life is a priority, the tenant may have to find new restaurants or clubs to frequent. If the tenant prefers entertainment at home, finding movies could be a priority. Tenants will need to find new doctors and new dentists in their new neighborhood.

Local Resources Discounts

Often, local merchants and neighborhood organizations can provide discounts and coupons to tenants who are new to the area as a way to promote their goods and services to the tenant and foster some good will to the tenant. You can find more examples of our Local Resources here
