Im subletting my fully furnished 1-bedroom apartment from May 1 through August 23, 2026. Minimum stay: 1 month. Dates are flexible within this timeframe.

Bright and quiet apartment with lots of charm in a peaceful residential neighborhood. Recently refinished original hardwood floors, brand new appliances (cooker, dishwasher, fridge), convenient in-unit washer and dryer. Three closets with plenty of shelves and storage room. Central air A/C and heating. Ceiling fans in bedroom, living room, and dining room.

The apartment is on the top floor of the building and offers beautiful views onto surrounding gardens. Back entrance has a little patio area. Designated parking space in a covered, open garage structure in driveway. More photos available upon request (listing doesnt show exterior for safety reasons).

Note that the map is at least a mile off! Look up 1610 Norfolk St and youll have a location near my building.

Great central location in quiet residential street just off Richmond Avenue and close to shops/restaurants. Beautiful neighborhood close to Boulevard Oaks, great for running and cycling. 5 mins walk from the famous Menil Collection and its park, 10 mins walk from H-E-B supermarket, 10 mins drive to Medical Center, 5 mins drive to downtown Montrose with all its hip restaurants and shops. Rice University campus is a beautiful commute past Boulevard Oaks: 25 mins walk, 8 mins cycle, or 8 mins drive. Nearby Trader Joes and Whole Foods (there arent many of them in Houston).

Rooms: Living room, bedroom (queen bed), dining room/office (I use the table as both desk and dining table), kitchen, bathroom with tub/shower, storage area with washer/dryer. 750 sq. feet.

Utilities included in rent: water, trash.
Not included: gas, electricity, wifi. These will amount to a total of approximately $150-250 per month, depending on your A/C usage. Ive paid less than $100 total these past months; electricity costs are low in winter/spring.

Monthly rent: $1950.- plus electricity, gas, and wifi
Security deposit: $1950
One-time cleaning fee: $120, to be paid directly to the cleaners before check-out

I love my apartment and everything in it. Im looking for a clean, responsible subletter who is respectful of my belongings and who will return the place in the neat condition they found it in. Professionals/faculty/postdocs only. No students please!
