Hey everyone! I am a 27 year old woman wanting to rent my room in a Marcy Holmes duplex from May 1st (flexible) until the end of my lease which is around September 1st. The house is really beautiful, five bedrooms, two bathrooms, free laundry in the basement, and all the common areas are already furnished nicely because I live with roommates. There is a main floor with three bedrooms and one bathroom, and a basement with two bedrooms and a bathroom. My room is on the main floor and it is the nicest of all the rooms, as it is a nice size and has the biggest closet. The kitchen has a dishwasher which is really nice also. The roommates are all girls my age, with one male roommate, but he is very clean. One of my roommates has a huge golden doodle who is the sweetest girl, shes really well behaved, and rarely barks. She also doesnt shed. My other roommate who lives in the basement just started fostering two cats, so because they are fosters its unclear how long theyll be here. They stay in her room though as they are very scared from their previous living situation. Shes very clean with the cats and the litter box is in her room and it never gets smelly or anything crazy. The house is a duplex with 5 girls also living in the upstairs unit above this one. There is a full, long driveway for parking so you will always be able to leave your car there, as there is room for everyone in the houses cars. There is a lovely little backyard also with a grill, some tables and chairs, and even a hammock. Its really beautiful in the summer, with lots of flowers. Another great thing about this place is that our landlord is so so nice, we can just text him whenever we have an issue or anything breaks and he comes right over to fix it. He is really kind, which is rare to find in a landlord. Also, the rent is really unmatched, as it is only $580 plus utilities which are paid monthly to one roommate who handles paying for the gas and electric and internet. The living room also has nice furniture and a big tv that you will be able to use with everyone else. The roommates might be open to having someone move in with an animal, more likely cats, as there is already a huge dog living here. However, the dog gets along really well with other dogs and cats, she is just the best. Anyways if this sounds like something youre interested in and you want to tour let me know !
