We (Brienne 23F, friendly 37M, and Jackie the cat) are looking for a single woman or couple (MF or FF) to move into the unfurnished master bedroom of our handsome, spacious, ground-floor duplex in NDG. Flexible move-in date, but the sooner the better. Asking $1,250 (negotiable) which includes rent, Hydro, internet, insurance, heat AND A/C.
Located near Vendome Metro, Girouard Park, and within walking distance to many amenities. The apartment has a front yard (that needs some love), and a back balcony thats reasonably cozy but still in need of some improvements (next up: shade sail).
The basement floor is occupied by Brienne, and the secondary upstairs bedroom by friendly. The apartment has two washrooms (one on the main floor and one in the basement), two washers/dryers and is mostly fully furnished but open to new additions!
We are looking for a responsible roommate who is clean and respectful of shared spaces; it generally wont be a good fit if youre more of a partier (as the apartment tends to be a chill space), or regularly use hard drugs (no judgment, but were both more Zen and enjoy peace and quiet in our homenot to say we dont enjoy the occasional party!).
Bonuses: the apartment is pet friendly and we would consider a dog that is well accustomed to living with cats; we both love plants (non-toxic to pets); we are looking for other students or working professionals; diverse backgrounds, identities, languages, and life experiences; occasional house parties and hangouts; DIY and interior design enthusiasts; partners for morning meditation, workouts/running, or camping, ect.

friendly: I am a 37-year-old Montrealer, single, Anglophone and Francophile, accompanied by my cat Jackie, returning to school after 15 years and a first career; international life experience and open-minded! I am particularly keen on shared meals and would love to regularly alternate cooking duties. Im expanding my repertoire of vegetarian meals and love cooking for groups, I have tons of exercise and camping gear to share, Im minimalist and clean, and I love animals.
Brienne: Im a 23-year-old recent McGill graduate in psychology, currently working hybrid as a research assistant at Concordia. I am an Anglophone but want to learn more French. I am aspiring to continue my education with a masters degree in psychology, but am taking some time to work and apply to schools. I love reading, thrift shopping, running, exploring the city, spending time with friends, and being with my partner! I am a vegetarian and enjoy making new recipes, and am trying to get into baking as well.
