Im looking for a responsible, clean (women only, please) housemate to share my mid-century-style, top floor haven in a Haight-Ashbury (edge of Cole Valley) 1890 Victorian, next to Golden Gate Park.
Im renting a furnished back-bedroom/office overlooking the backyard with private bathroom in one of SFs best neighborhoods, ideal for someone who needs a San Francisco city base full or part time whether F/T, commuting to SF for work, etc. Theres an in-unit washer and dryer, dishwasher, your own private bathroom with friendly toilet (!), shared living room and kitchen, as well as large shared backyard with deck, lawn, grill and lemon tree. The room has a desk and bookshelves (with my deep cookbook/drink book collection), a new couch with a queen memory foam pullout mattress that closes with comfort and sheets on, turning the room into its own cozy living room. There is a portion of the back closet available for hanging clothes and some shelf space.
My neighborhood is the ideal, rare mix of city & nature just outside your door in the center of SF: super walkable, 1 block from Golden Gate Park (+15 minutes from the ocean), 1 block from the Panhandle, 1 block from Haight St., surrounded by Haight Street shops, grocery stores, restaurants, cafes and GG Park museums. Also surrounded by public transportation: the N Muni train + 7 Haight/Noriega, 33 Ashbury/18th St., 37 Corbett and 43 Masonic bus lines.
Rent is $2500 per month including utilities, wifi, bi-monthly cleaning, basics (toilet paper, soap, etc.) Can discuss a lower rate with utilities and amenities paid for separately OR for part time renters (committing to a minimum number of days per month).
