I am helping my private landlord find a female-identifying individual to sublease or take over my lease for a room in a furnished 2BR/1B no later than July 15th, 2025, until the end of January 2026, or longer if interested (the listing on the website needs to be updated from September to July). The building is two blocks from Connecticut Avenue, in the heart of Dupont Circle. Its a 7-minute walk to the Red Line at Dupont Station and the bus stops for the 90, 92, 96, D2, S2, and S9 routes. Additionally, its a short walk to all the bars on 18th Street in Adams Morgan and U Street. Its conveniently just one block from Safeway and about a 14-minute walk from Trader Joes, Whole Foods, and Harris Teeter. The area is quiet and super safe to walk around. Its also close to Rock Creek Park if you like running & exploring!

The newly updated room is fully furnished with a queen-sized bed, computer desk, smart TV (Netflix included), and kitchen/bathroom essentials. It is pretty big, with two large south-facing windows that let in lots of natural light!

$1600 a month, with all utilities + WiFi included. The lease is per room, not the entire unit. Off-street parking is available behind the building for an additional fee.

Ideally, looking for someone in their 20s. The room is perfect for interns and students, but all professionals are welcome! Please share if you know someone who may be interested.
