The bed is accompanied with plush bedding including high quality linens, 2 gel pillows & 2 down-feather pillows. The bathroom has a shower & tub, pedestal sink, & historic tile floors that heat up.

***Please note the following elements that make this studio unique:
1. Guests do not have access to the back yard, the back door is for emergencies only. There is private outdoor space at the front door of this apartment that you are welcome to use.
2. There are a washer & dryer available upon request but not by default. Please message us to arrange access.
3. A family with a small dog (but no small children) live in the upstairs portion of the home, they do their best to be quiet but you may hear footsteps or barking.

The property is located in the heart of Capitol Hill, a charming and historically famous neighborhood. What started out as an area for members of Congress to live in the late 18th century, has now become Washington DCs largest residential historic district. This apartment is located on a scenic residential street, yet you can walk to dozens of fantastic locally owned restaurants, Starbucks, and grocery stores.

On weekdays, you can stroll to the Library of Congress, Supreme Court, Capitol, or any one of the many Smithsonians. Almost all of DCs best sites are within walking distance if you use the metro (there are 2 within a few blocks - Capitol South & Eastern Market). On weekends, head to Eastern Market to buy unique souvenirs or groceries. Our favorite restaurants nearby are Barrel, Ambar, Le Bon Cafe, Hawk & & Dove. Starbucks is 1 block away.
