We completed building this charming cottage in our front garden last November so its a fresh new space. We have been hosting guests from around the world for over 7 years now, the last 5 years here at our small semi-detached home studio which is also still available for rent.
The cottage is an open plan space with a fully equipped, self contained kitchen area, w fridge, stove etc and an island top separator.
It has an en-suite bathroom and sleeping area with a double bed and a futon which can fold down to sleep two.
The interior walls are bamboo paneling with teak floors creating a warm rustic, tropical feel. Shuttered windows allow cool breezes to circulate through while providing security.
In addition there is a standing fan. There is wifi access.
It has its own small sundeck for chilling, outdoor dining or sunbathing. There is also an outdoor shower. Hammocks available on request.
We have 3 dogs who are guest friendly but only as interactive as you are. I live in the main house Shambhala with my two easy going responsible sons.
We are located across from several beaches in easy walking distance, the nearest about 2mins away.
Public transport is at the end of the street and all sides of island can be accessed on bus system.
The nearest town with all amenities - bank, supermarket, pharmacy, cafes, fish market and food stalls is Oistins about a 7 min walk.
We are about a 5 min drive from the famous St Lawrence Gap (The Gap) for night life w clubs, restaurants, bars, street food stalls etc.
A 15-20 min drive into Bridgetown, the capital and about a 30 min drive to the West Coast.
We are available to help you with any qs and to tell you about the best activities and eating places etc. and assist you in having the holiday you have in mind.
We mostly want you to have a comfortable, safe and enjoyable stay.
