There is also the added attraction of Dunrobin Castle, the famous Gold Course at Dornoch and many beautiful walks. It is an ideal location for touring the Northern Highlands, hill walking, climbing and cycling the quiet country roads beyond the main thoroughfare.
In the village there is a Fish and Chip Shop and the Restaurant next door, La Mirage offers the finest fresh fish cooking in the North. there are three pubs and two hotels, Doctors surgery, Community Centre and Highland Games every August.
