This beautiful flat in a farmhouse of 5 apartments was restored about 6 years ago.it has a huge communal park , a private garden a communal swimming pool and a communal car park.
it is located in the countryside of volterra,just outside the "old wall"to the etruscan city of volterra, and faces the old "castello mediceo" on one side and the "mazzolla castel" on the other.
surronded by lavander,podere pianuggiole is very closed to pisa, san gimignano, siena,florence and lucca as well as being in the country side and yet very closed to cecina sea side and the famous white beach of Rosignano and cala violina.
The apartment has a master bedroom with on suit bathroom with shower all in marble,that faces the swimming pool and the mazzolla caste, with a king size bed and the typical tuscan style forniture, the guest bedroom has twin beds and again it has the typical tuscan style furniture, in front of the guest bedroom there is another big bathroom in marble with bath and washing machine. the kitchen and livingroom are open space, the sofa bed can easily be opened to accomodate two guests.
the kitchen/lounge table is the typical farmhouse table, vey big and in plain wood,it can be opened up and can accomodate up to 8 people.
outside there is a "gazebo" were you can eat and rest in the summer,also there is a barbecue in the garden.
idylliac place for resting, many british and dutch have bought their holiday home here and have rebatised the area as "chiantishire"!!!!!
the food and the wine as well athe olive oil here is fabulous and very cheap,everything is naturally organic.
A place wher life still is very slow, and where people grow and sell their natural products.......
