My boyfriend and I own a 5 bedroom 3 bath home with a large family room space downstairs. We have 4 kids between the 2 of us with 2 girls living with us . The room for rent is in the basement with a shared bathroom and the family room space it included with the room rental. Shared laundry room and kitchen are upstairs.
