The rent is $850 it includes the water, trash, heat and sewage.
The heat is free to our tenants and helps save them money in comparison to other apartment complexes in town. In the winter covered parking is essential. Not having to shovel snow off your vehicle or its surroundings in the early icy morning is a big plus. We make sure the sidewalks are clear of ice and snow. We also provide an unlimited supply of ice melt to our tenants. For really snowy seasons we hire a contractor to plow the parking lot.
For the warmer seasons we have a landscaper that tends to the grounds twice a month. LMUD is our local electric company (such as PG&E in larger cities). We have a of four with two younger children who love to leave lights on all day; our bill is usually no higher than $60 in the winter and max of $100 in the summer with the A/C’s running in all rooms. Hopefully that can help give you an idea of living costs.
Our apartment complex is extremely quiet. A Majority of our tenants work at the army base, prisons or the local hospital. This means we need our tenants to be respectful of noise at all hours to be considerate of those working nights and sleeping during the day. It is also very safe here at Greystone.
There is a large dumpster and recycling bin in the complex by the manager’s unit. Located by the office is a newspaper stand. The paper is complimentary and delivered every Tuesday. Past the office are the complex mail boxes.
