The apartment is a steal - its an incredible location, just about three minutes walk from the Kingston Ave subway station. I take about half an hour to reach Midtown, Manhattan on the 3 that goes direct (also stops by other convenient locations like Wall St, Chambers St, and 14th St). Buses are right around the corner as well (theres a direct bus to Williamsburg), and theres a 24hour police petrol that looks over the neighborhood. There are lots of families around, and Ive had absolutely no trouble coming home even late at night. Theres a wash&fold just a few steps away from the apartment, and a laundromat about one block away off Kingston Ave (its right beside a hardware store and a grocery shop, so I run errands while waiting for the laundry).

I stayed in the 1BR apartment, which has its own entryway into the house. Its a pretty big space for a person, with a full kitchen and a tall fridge (along with appliances and cutlery, all the minor conveniences of a working kitchen). The bedroom has three large windows that looks out into a beautiful garden, it holds a queen-sized bed with plenty of space left to move around, as well as a dresser. I managed to move a study desk into the bedroom, and there was still plenty of space to move around even with the desk/chair set. Theres also a small bathroom with a shower cubicle, with lovely hot water thats great for cold days. Apartments well-lit, quiet, very clean; I really enjoyed my stay here.

And, importantly, Regina is a lovely landlady - very responsive and generous with her time. She welcomed me to the neighborhood with advice about the best places to shop, festivals and events in the neighborhood, the fastest way to get to places, and much more. If theres anything that crops up with the apartment, shes quick to help (gave me a new lightbulb on the same day when the one I had didnt work, for example). My stay here was made very special because of the attention she gave me in treating me like family.

I lived there for almost 2 years. I had a great experience! I miss the area and the convenience of the location. Quick access to the Subway which connects you to the whole NYC. The apartment is nice, quiet, confortable and the landlord is always receptive to solve problema in the apartment. I enjoyed everyday there. Youll enjoy it!
