We are a couple origionally from south africa and england and have been in Rio for many years. We have rustic chalets in a rural area 1 hr from the City of Rio De Janiero. If you like to get away from the hectic city life then this is the perfect place for you, we offer bed and breakfast, also food is available all day at a reasonable price. We have a local supermarket, bars etc in our little village, and the nearest shopping center is 10 minutes away. Our local beach Itacoatiara is 10 mins away by car, or 20 mins by bicycle which most people use here. We are also near to the local buses and taxis, and 30 minutes to Niteroi, the next town before Rio, where you can enjoy the boat ride over to Rio. We offer different packages with food, entertainment and nature walks etc. We are also regsiterd tour guides here in Rio.Also we speak the local language and english.
