Wonderful, wonderful landlord Jae. Very amicable and flexible. I found this place a few months back and stay till now.

When I first requested for a viewing, Jae got back to me almost the same day and scheduled for the next day. When I went there, I was shown around by his friend and neighbour Maria. All the facilities and amenities were great.

Peaceful and quiet for the entire time I stayed, nothing random happened. If you have to pick on it, its an old NYC building (you know the stereotypes).

I had to move because of job requirements but Id come back again.

I stayed at this place for one year and the experience was awesome. I wish I could have continued but had to travel out of the country for long and had to give up. The landlord, Jae is very friendly and helpful. The apartment is at a very convenient safe location. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I lived in this apartment for a few months at the end of 2013. I found Jaeder to be a very efficient, kind and responsive landlord. This place is his home and therefore it is much nicer than your typical rental (it was without a doubt the best shower experience I have had in the 6 or so places I have lived in in NYC). The apartment is nice and quiet and the neighborhood is safe. I also found a rare commodity in this place, a genuinely helpful and nice super.

Were renting this apartment for six months and could not be happier! It is conveniently located for a short commute to Manhattan, in a friendly neighborhood with all the necessary amenities, and is in a very well-run building with a great superintendent.

The apartment itself is immaculately kept and fully equipped, attesting to the owners high standards. You wont need anything else while living there.

Most importantly, however, the owner is a really nice guy who is a joy to deal with. We moved into the apartment from overseas and the owner helped us coordinate our arrival with the superintendent. Throughout, he has been genuinely and personally interested in our wellbeing and works hard to make sure that everything is as it should be. There have been absolutely no unpleasant incidents; the owner is completely trustworthy and honest. We could not recommend him more highly.

In short, you cant go wrong with this apartment!

About one year ago I moved from Sunnyside, Queens to Long Island. Our house wasnt quite ready and I we needed to sublet an apartment for one month. I went onto Sublet.com and found this apartment. At first I couldnt believe something so charming and sophisticated could be a sublet. Then I met the owner and knew that he would own nothing less! The entire rental experience--dealing with the owner, living in the space--was absolutely delightful. I wish I had a reason to sublet this home again! I would give both the owner and the apartment the highest rating. The area is good, too. Lots to do and see. Very close to NYC.

I rented this apartment for four months. Reason for leaving is that I bought my own apartment. If not, I would gladly have stayed longer. Not only is the apartment cosy and beautifully decorated and the building well-maintained and managed, the landlord is the type of person that unfortunately is becoming increasingly rare: someone who doesnt just care for the apartment, but above all for the well-being of the tenant! He promptly responded and dealt with any issues or questions I had, there were no "hidden" charges or surprises, and the security deposit was promptly returned to me upon departure. In short, very highly recommended!!
