I WAS MICHAEL'S ROOMMATE FOR 3 YEARS. AFTER MOVING IN THE 1ST YEAR I WAS ILL AN UNABLE TO WORK. MICHAEL WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND ALLOWED ME TO BE BEHIND IN MY RENT FOR 8 MONTHS TILL I COULD CATCH UP.
HE WAS AT ALL TIMES FOR THOSE 3 YEARS A GENTLEMAN. I EVEN HAD HIM COME TO SOME HOLIDAYS WITH MY FAMILY.
I HAD ONE MAJOR ARGUEMENT WITH HIM IN 3 YEARS AND THAT WAS DO TO THE FACT I WAS SMOKING IN MY ROOM. AN AGREEMENT I HAD BROKEN. I WAS NOT A SMOKER WHEN I INTERVIEWED FOR THE ROOM BUT TOOK IT UP AGAIN AFTER 17 YEARS THE DAY I MOVED IN.
I ALSO HAVE 2 LITTLE DOGS THAT HE TOOK IN AS WELL AND THEY ADORED HIM. WHEN I WOULD GO AWAY ON VACATION OR FOR A WEEKEND MICHAEL WOULD TAKE CARE OF THEM FOR ME.
I JUST WANTED TO STATE THESE THINGS BECAUSE MY EXPERIENCE WAS DIFFERENT FROM WHAT I HAVE READ. I MOVED OUT WHWEN I DECIDED TO MOVE IN WITH MY BOYFRIEND.
Hello, I was a recent tenant at Michael Driscollís apartment (NYC 89th And 1st) during a four month period, 12/2007 - 4/2008. He was an amazing landlord/person, from his extreme generosity
through impeccably clean standards. Not only is his apartment tidy, but it is amazingly spacious and welcoming. I truly felt at home during my stay. He's hospitality was much appreciated, from his food offerings to my personal warm comfortable bedroom/bathroom (not to mention fully furnished!!!). Also has an adorable, sweet dog who always greeted me with open paws upon my arrival.
I highly recommend visiting his place and getting to know Michael. You will see first-hand what a joy is and a remarkable home he maintains.
