Pets More OK In Rentals Than Ever
According to a October 20, 2011 NY Times article When the Roommate Has Four Legs by ANTOINETTE MARTIN, pets are more acceptable than ever in Greater New York City area rentals. Now, rather than refuse tenants with pets, it is a much more common practice to allow pets and place restrictions such as the number of pets, the weight of a pet or to charge a one time pet fee, a monthly pet fee, or both - and or a deposit against pet related damages.
