A Lease Assignment With Lessor Consent Agreement transfers the current lease from the original tenant to the new tenant as agreed to by the landlord.
If your name currently appears on the lease as a tenant that you are turning over to a new tenant who will assume full responsibility for that lease and rental, then you need to sign a Lease Assignment With Lessor Consent Agreement with all parties (new tenant and landlord).
