Hello! We are the Cramer Family & we are thrilled to have the opportunity to host you at Cloverfield in Southern Pines. We are a family of 4: Ben (dad), Lauren (responsible), Duke (5) and Billie Jean (2). Cloverfield started as a pipe dream in 2018 when we moved to Southern Pines and found this hidden gem. The 1900s farmhouse and guest cottages had been completely abandoned for over 10 years when we saw the property and immediately fell in love with it. Everyone told us we were crazy, but we knew we could restore the property and bring the forgotten treasure back from the brink. We took a little over a year to work on it, day in and day out. But with a lot of hard work, determination and a few of Laurens tears we restored this amazing property back to its original splendor! Cloverfield officially started welcoming guests in 2019 to stay in the newly renovated Cottage (3bed/2bath) and Barn (1bed/1bath). And in early 2024 the Ranch House (4 bed/4 bath) will be available as well. Thats a total of 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms to sleep 20 guests over 6 acres in a fully furnished private estate retreat. We hope to share our love of the South with you and your family & friends in our perfect private oasis.

Our guests will immediately be immersed in the quiet sanctuary of their own pine-lined private drive alongside sprawling horse corrals. We welcome you to enjoy your private 6 acre retreat nestled just minutes from downtown Southern Pines, and the village of Pinehurst. Come enjoy the peaceful serenading of birdsong while you swing on the covered front porch or barbeque under the pines on your private patio. The unique layout of the quaint cottage, regal ranch house and expansive barn offer privacy for all your guests in a quiet country setting. You are encouraged to take a relaxing stroll through several acres of woods and gardens to watch the sunrise. We are in the heart of horse and golf country with plenty of fun just a few miles away. This is certainly a golfers paradise throughout the year, with over 50 courses open annually, including Pinehurst No. 2, the home of the US Open, only 10 minutes away. Or Mid Pines, Pine Needles, and St. Josephs clubhouses sitting a mere mile and a half down the road. For the horse enthusiast our local home of Champions and dozens of other Equestrian facilities (including a few ponies just across from your front porch) can all be visited easily within 10 minutes when they arent off galloping around the country.
