This is a no-frills, budget-friendly, private room with one window. Closet in the room. Hardwood flooring in room. One folding chair in room & small trash bin. It has its own lock and key.

BATHROOM:

There is a shared bathroom available. Please be aware that you are sharing the bathroom with other sublet guests which can be from 1 - 4 other people, depending on occupancy. To keep costs down, the bathroom is cleaned daily by hosts. It is NOT cleaned hourly or after each time it is used. Thus, expect normal usage. If the expectation is a private immaculate bathroom, guests are encouraged to seek such bookings elsewhere.

LINENS:
One towel per person and clean bed linens provided. Our bed sheets are washed after each booking. All our mattresses are protected with vinyl zippering coverings for your health, protection, and safeguarding of mattresses.

BED:

There is a REAL QUEEN size bed.

GUESTS:

No outside guests allowed

NO PETS

APPLIANCES:

Do not keep in room appliances or leave lights on on when not in room.

HEAT & AIR CONDITIONING
The house has central air and heat with vents in every room. In the summer the air conditioning is set to 74 - 76 degrees Fahrenheit.

SMOKING:

SMOKE Free — no cigarettes or weed/Marijuana. No smoking on the premises. No coming into the house smelling of weed - - the smell lingers and disturbs the hosts and other guests. NO illegal activities of any kind.

PARTYING:

No partying allowed. This is a room for the purpose of rest, relax, and sleep.

WHAT SHOULD I KNOW ABOUT THE ROOM?
This is a newly renovated room in the 2nd floor of a one home. The 1st floor of home is being actively renovated.

IS THERE A KITCHEN AVAIL?

This accommodation does NOT offer:

* Kitchen or pantry usage
Please do not expect these services.

FRIDGE:

We have a small common fridge available for our guests and an electric hot water kettle available for guest usage on second floor. Please label anything that is yours.

WHAT ELSE SHOULD I BRING?

Please bring your own toiletries such as shampoo, razors, shaving cream, napkins, extra soap, powder, tooth brushes, toothpaste, deodorant, perfume/colognes, hair brushes/combs, etc.

Security

A 24/7, recording camera at our entrance and in the common hallway of our second floor allows your hosts to regularly track movements of anyone in front the house and within the home. While it is a safe neighborhood and our home is well secured, we enjoy the peace of mind our camera provides.

IS THERE A CURFEW TIME?
No, there is no curfew time or set time that guests must be in their rooms with lights off, or set times to take a shower, or allowed to enter our home. Our guests are responsibles and we trust them to come in and out freely and be considerate regarding after hour noise for the comfort of other sublet guests in other private rooms.

PARKING:
There is plenty of FREE off-street parking in this section of Jersey City. No zoning restrictions. Please be mindful not to park/block someone’s driveway. Also read signs to follow alternate side parking rules (street cleaning rules). Street cleaning is usually at 3-4pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.

Check in time is after 3pm. Check in time is flexible.

WHAT TIME IS CHECK OUT?

Check out time is 11am.

This is a budget friendly , safe and comfortable, room in a private one-family home for travelers on a extremely tight budget or looking to spend their vacation/rent monies elsewhere.
