The cottage CORTIJO POQUEIRA it is situated 2 Km. from PAMPANEIRA in LA ALPUJARRA (800m). Inside of the Natural Park of Sierra Nevada.
There are two main houses with two apartment each, one on the first floor and the other on the second floor. They are very private and quite. The buildings are located 75 meters from each other, all of which are situated on a sunny hillside amidst planted terraces of fruit trees including chestnuts and walnuts.
There is a natural spring and the sound of the water makes it an ideal place to rest and relax.

In the garden there is a pond with a water lily plant and fishes.

All the houses are made from stone and reclaimed wood and features beautiful, artistic details, including tiles made by the owner.

CASA CASTAO (First Floor)
There is a big living room with a fireplace that has a hot air system connected to the main bedroom.
A wooden archway leads into the fully equipped kitchen that has and old wooden stove used to cook and bake bread,
it still works perfectly and it can heat the house pretty quick.
Connected to the kitchen there is a breakfast area that also leads to a room that has huge windows so it
can be used as an office space or another bedroom.
Close to the living room there is a bathroom with a round ceramic tub and a big closet.
On a higher floor through a rock carved staircase is the main bedroom with a double size bed (150 cm).
The entrance of the house is through a terrace under a huge old chestnut tree, there is a stone table to sit
down and enjoy a good fresh lunch. There is another additional space, called Era a few
meters away from the house that can be used with table and chairs.
