I stayed at this apartment for two months and had an excellent experience. Sergio (the rental agent) was very attentive. A few minor things needed fixing during the stay and he took care of them immediately. The apartment was clean and the furnishings adequate for the inexpensive monthly rent. It is very private, and the other building tenants were friendly. The location is the best part, one block from the amazing Gothic temple "El Expiatorio" and the University of Guadalajara Art Museum. Only a short walk to both the Chapaltepic area of cafes, restaurants and also to the downtown historic district and nightclubs. El Expiatorio is one of the most beautiful churches Ive ever seen. I went in there almost every day and I am not at all religious. The plaza outside is very active with people hanging out, food vendors, traditional mexican dancing on Sunday nights. Its my favorite part of Guadalajara to live in.
