Unfurnished Rental

One-bedroom, corner, 775 square-foot apartment on the 18th (highest) floor of a 24-hour doorman building on the corner of 55th Street and 1st Avenue. The apartment has a large bedroom (11 X 17), very large living room and dining area (12-10 X 26), separate and nice kitchen, foyer, great closet space, and lots of windows. The apartment faces east and south and, because it does not face a street, is extremely quiet. The building has laundry in the basement, great doormen, and is run by a friendly management company. Some photos attached.

Rent for a new one-year lease will be $2,950 per month. Building management charges a one-month broker fee for new tenants, plus a $400 lease preparation fee. The apartment is available for a new tenant beginning April 1. Anyone who is interested can contact me. Kerry

We had an excellent 4-night stay at this place. It was clean, neat, and had everything we needed: ample towels, toiletries, and all the small appliances you expect to have at home (toaster, hair dryer, iron and board). Henry even left us some orange juice in the fridge! Henry was a great host--he answered all our questions about the area (we were looking for an apartment in Philly during our stay so we had many) and was available throughout our stay for additional assistance. The apartment is very conveniently located in the the ritzy part of town, a few blocks away from the energetic major shopping streets. From there we reached most parts of central Philly and the UPenn area by foot. There were also several great restaurants and grocery stores near by, allowing us to stay close to home when we wanted to. Overall, a great experience!

The apartment was perfect and precisely as advertised. It was extremely clean and tidy, and well-organized within a spacious soace. The neighborhood was quiet and very conveniently located for our center city needs. Extremely heavy traffic delayed our arrival, but we kept Henry from Renaissance Properties abreast of our progress and he was there to meet us and made the hand-off of keys and information quite pleasant and efficient. Likewise he was easy to communicate with via email ahead of our stay. We would absolutely stay there again.

I just wanted to join the overwhelming chorus of positive reactions to staying with Renaissance Properties this past week. Considering this was in one of the nicest parts of Philly and that the apartment was so stunningly great, the really affordable price makes it even more of a must for anyone traveling here in the future, The apartment is so spacious and beautifully laid out with a great downstairs living room and kitchen and a delightful bedroom with a super comfy and roomy bed and a perfectly equipped bathroom. To make everything even more perfect, if that is possible, is Henry from Renaissance Properties himself, a totally friendly, available and exceptionally helpful and accommodating host. In short anyone would be crazy not to take advantage of this phenomenal situation; the very best of the best!

Our stay was was fantastic! He bailed me and my son and mother out of a sticky situation after being let down by another host and we were left with no place to stay. Excellent communication from the start. The apartment was great. Spacious, comfy, clean, great kitchen with all kitchen equipment you might need. Location is perfect - 10 mins from a subway and only a few stops from the centre of town. Rittenhouse, is a great area with grocery stores, bars restaurants and boutique shops just minutes away. The Farmers Market is just up the street - again only a few mins away. The area is totally safe and very family orientated and super friendly. I would book here again if I ever came back to the city and I hope one day I will. I would recommend Renaissance 100% Thanks for making our stay in Phily very special.

Ive lived in Philadelphia for twelve years and I have always wanted to live on this block so I called this landlord to book a weekend at this lovely brownstone. It is one of the best blocks of Philadelphia located in the posh and prestigious Rittenhouse Square neighborhood. The block has several gorgeous brownstones and many single home dwellings that are easily mansions! Our block is often filmed on at least two or three times a year for film and tv! Most recently for a new tv show and a film starring Terrence Howard and Colin Farrell.

My wife and I stayed in the apartment the night before the Philadelphia Marathon this year. It was a great location close to the start/finish with several restaurants nearby. We walked to the convention center and Reading Terminal Market about 25-30 minutes away. That night walked home in the dark and felt comfortable on all of the surrounding streets. The 1BR was everything that we expected. There was plenty of room for the two of us, the kitchen area and fridge was a nice plus. The shower had hot water for both of us. The masterbed was great and we didnt need to bring out own towels or sheets. We did bring a comforter just in case it was cool. Overall the price and location were great for us to spend a night in the city. Anyone looking for a place to crash while enjoying the city should be satisfied with the accommodations. Thanks Renaissance!
