The town of Ohrid is the pearl of all Macedonian towns. It is famous for its architecture of traditional “Ohrid houses” and for its rambling beautiful old town centre with its 365 landmarkes. Many of the historical, well-known landmarkes are located directly by the Ohrid lake. The lake is well-known for its prehistoric trout, which are traditionally cooked with onions and walnuts. There are many enjoyable excursions to be made in the surrounding area of Ohrid. Some of the most recommendable excursions are : Prespa lake, National Park Galićica, National Park Mavrovo, Sveti Naum and Albania.

ELISABETH HOUSE is located in the centre of the old town, in a very calm place, directly behind the beautiful landmark SVETA SOFIA. The house offers its guests two luxurious appartments.

One apartment (100 square metres large) offers space for 6 guests, and the other apartment (65 square metres large) can accommodate 2 guests.

Both apartments are air-conditioned, are very modern, and very tastefully decorated, and dispose of very attractive bathrooms with shower and WC facilities, as well as Satellite TV. In addition, the apartments have wonderful terraces filled with plants from which you have a view over the old town and partly over the lake. There are beaches by the lake in close proximity (3 minutes by foot).
