I had the most wonderful three month stay in Rome while staying at the studio apt on Via Dei Serpenti! Paola was the most gracious and helpful landlord. She always had the best suggestions for restaurants, gelato, museums, wine bars, and walks around Rome. Everything you would want to see and experience in Rome is a 5-20 minute walk from this central location and the metro and bus are but minutes away. Restaurants, markets, coffee bars, and drug stores are all conveniently located up and down this busy and active street. The piazza across the street was always lively and full of music! The apt has all the amenities one needs to call this place "home."

I have been living in Rome on and off for 11 years, and now that Im married, I didnt want to crash in a friends extra room. I thus turned to sublet.com. I was a little worried about booking an apartment through the Internet, but it turned out that a friend knew Paola, and reassured me that everything would be fine. He was right - the place was perfect!
In person, the apartment looks exactly the same as it does in the photos. It was very clean and has any amenity youll need, including air conditioning, towels, plates, sheets, hangers, etc. It was also quiet, sunny, and VERY central. Paola, the landlady, is also very professional, and took care of problems immediately.
There are several food markets in the area and you can walk to most tourist sites in 5-20 minutes. Trastevere where most people go out in the evening is also walking distance! I will definitely be contacting Paola again the next time I need a place to stay in Rome!
