Aloha special soul! It is difficult to fill out a typical form for a quite atypical environment which sometimes welcomes 1 - 4 individuals in one of three ways (outlined below). Important to know: This is private smoke/alcohol/drugs & drama-free home space, with small, rustic, country-quirky cabins on the land that are, on occasion, available to new & old friends/kindred spirits; it is NOT a sublet. We are within easy driving distance of swimmable ocean, Volcano National Park hiking, Hilo & other towns, farmers markets, UH, art galleries, restaurants, etc.; and also within country-walking distance of the Hele-On bus system. Of note: in recent years this environment has been experimenting with becoming as sustainable/green as possible, transitioning to a passive solar showering system, for example, which is hooked up in the bathroom/bathhouse. This is a separate, nearby structure; it is not within any available cabin. Shared by those here, the bathhouse is used privately. There is accessible electricity & WIFI on site. There is no access to cooking facilities, though a hotplate &/or cooler can be provided, if used with mindful care. Generally awesome, stable, spiritual, creative, reliable, & consistently good communicators are the kinds of folk happily welcomed to share sacred time/space on this wild-nature based land. Helping tend structures & jungle grounds in a partial-work-trade way for 2-3 hours a day with a 3-day minimum goes along with the $35/day rate listed. No experience is necessary, just good energy. :) There are other ways of being here as well. Anyone who does not want (or feel able) to pitch in with energetic support daily can either: A) just do their own creative/spiritual/vacation/regular life thing withOUT providing any helping out energy, or B) participate in prearranged collaborative mystical adventures that are custom-designed just for you. These latter two, non-partial-work-trade options involve higher monetary contributions, though longer-terms discounts are possible. (Tailored combinations of 2 or all 3 options are also sometimes possible. Inquire!) All arrangements prepaid/non-refundable/non-transferable & made directly. Ample advance notice is appreciated. Extending time once here is sometimes, though not always, possible. Security deposits only for long-termers.
