Its located on the Lavadores beach and has a balcony facing the beach. This beach is well known in the north of Portugal. Its known to have healing powers due its large content of Iodine. The name "Lava" in Portuguese means Wash and "Dores" means Pain, hence the name Lavadores or wash away the pain.
