Saint Nicolas des Eaux is a small protected village tucked along the banks of the river Blavet in Brittany, a perfect location for exploring either the heart of Brittany with its medieval towns (Pontivy,Josselin Vannes, Auray, ...), landmarkes,chapels and countryside.
30 minutes drive away, you can reach the coast and explore the pretty beaches, bays, the striking cliffs of the coast sauvage, and the beautiful inland sea of The Golf of Morbihan.

From St Nicolas des Eaux, you can walk or cycle along the river or fish along the river bank. There is a canoe/kayak centre and a miniature golf, There are two good restaurants,a creperie, bars,grocery, or a short drive (five minutes) takes you to Plumeliau or Baud where you will find supermarkets, banks, post office, and doctors.
A karting centre is 4 kms from the house and, a pretty nine-hole golf course is just 10 minutes drive away.
