Quinta Zoe is a retreat in the beautiful city of Queretaro, Mexico. This gorgeous property has been renovated from top to bottom with every detail being authentically appointed. The property was like an oasis as soon as I entered the inner courtyard, with gorgeous fountains tinkling away, washing away the stress of the travel day. I enjoyed all the outside spaces available at Quinta Zoe - the weather in March definitely beckons you to be outside in Queretaro. There is a stunning rooftop terrace for guest to gather or just take in the the views of the historic churches all around Quinta Zoe. I really enjoyed sitting there in the morning drinking a cup of coffee and in the evening watching the sun set.

My room was very comfortable and quiet, though I spent little time in my room because there is so much to do in Queretaro and the surrounding areas. The owners were very knowledgeable about the city, as they have been in Queretaro for many years. They were able to offer suggestions on safe places to eat, the language (Zoe actually has language and local culture videos on YouTube!) and things to do - if you want direction, though they definitely are not intrusive and allow the guest autonomy.

After one week, I felt so comfortable with my "home" and the city that I am already dreaming about my next trip back; and on that next trip, I will definitely book a room at Quinta Zoe.

Close to all the action from restaurants to shopping to the lovely squares, Quinta Zoe provides a retreat for the traveler to rest, rejuvenate and rejoice in the beauty of Queretaro and the surrounding historic areas of Mexico.
