Green Bay is a city in the State of Wisconsin, U.S., and the county seat is Brown County. Green Bay is the Wisconsinís oldest permanent settlement in the seventeenth century with a French fur Upper Midwest search - started in the business and mission. There are 51 public schools, 28 private schools and 5 post-secondary schools in Green Bay.       Green Bay Area History
The first immigrants arrived on the French early in the 17th century the area of Green Bay was home to many tribes. They are known as the Green Bay "La Baye des Puants", or Bay of Stinkards. Green Bay governed by a mayor and city council, the mayor elected to a four-year term in citywide vote. City Council has 12 members, elected from each of the districts.
