Chesapeake Bay is the major estuary in the United States of Virginia, enclosed by Maryland and Virginia, From the Susquehanna River in the north to the Atlantic Ocean in the south. The Chesapeake Bay is nearly 200 miles long. The minimum depth of the bay is 46 feet and the maximum depth is 208 feet, total coastline for the bay and its stream is 11,684 miles and the surface area of the bay and its major stream is 4,479 square miles. North America's largest river mouth and has a shoreline of more than 12,800 kilometers is Chesapeake Bay.

Chesapeake Bay History

Chesapeake Bay Geography
