By comprising the 32 Federal Entities of Mexico, with the Federal District, Aguascalientes is one of the 31 states. The municipalities are divided into 11, and its capital city is Aguascalientes. In the North-central of Mexico it is located. Its surroundings are bordered by the states of Zacatecas to the north and Jalisco to the south. It originated from the abundance of hot springs in the area by its name that means "Hot Waters" in Spanish. Wagon trains that were carrying silver from Zacatecas to Mexico City began as a fort to protect by Aguascalientes. For many renowned colonial cathedrals and structures, Aguascalientes is the home for them. For its annual San Marcos Fair 'Feria de San Marcos' the city is famous for it, which is held from late April to early May. With an average year-round temperature ranging from 17║ to 20║ C (63║ to 68║ F) and summer highs reaching 23║ C (73║ F) the climate is pleasant. A church, plazas, gardens, architectural monuments, offers a splendid assortment of old neighborhoods founded by Aguascalientes 430 years ago. The five traditional neighborhoods interest of the city are La Estacion, La Salud, El Encino, Guadalupe and San Marcos. With strong religious traditions and fascinating baroque architecture each as its own rich history. From generation to generation particularly the crafts and the embroidered garments, which are made using techniques handed down and have become an important regional cultural symbol. Some of the best wines in the country are produced by Aguascalientes.

In one of the 31 states Colima is one among them. This comprises the 32 Federal Entities of Mexico with the Federal District. With its capital and main city it shares its name as Colima. In west of Mexico Colima is located, and it's a very small state. Its borders are sharing with the Mexican states of Jalisco to the north and east, to the west the Pacific Ocean is bordered by Colombia and Michoacan to the south. The state's main cities include Manzanillo and Tecoman, in addition to the capital city of Colima. With a population in 2010 of about 650,555 people, the state has an area of 5,625 square kilometers (2,172 sq mi.). The sea and the sierras are the two most dominant landscape features that almost reflect everything about the state. Depending on the translation the name Colima has 2 meanings; one is "Place conquered by our grandparents or ancestors" and the other "Place dominated by the Fire God." In reference to the active volcano Volcan de Fuego, the latter meaning is also known as Volcan de Colima. Near the capital city of Colima this is located. Since 1999 volcano's in Mexico spawned several small eruptions considering this volcano as the most dangerous active volcano. Featuring many historic buildings, several excellent museums are located in Colima. In 1527 the capital city was founded. Full of beautiful parks are located in the city. Parque Piedra Lisa is the home to the famous "slippery stone" of Colima, is one of the park in the east of city center. In the legend it is said that, you will be destined to return to Colima city if you slide down the stone.

In the 31 states Guanajuato is one, with the Federal District of Mexico, comprising the 32 Federal Entities. Guanajuato is its Capital city, and the municipalities are divided into 46. In the North of -Central Mexico it is located. The states are bordered by Jalisco to the west, Queretaro to the east, Zacatecas to the northeast, San Luis Potosi to the north and Michoacan to the south. An area of 30,608 km▓ has been covered by it. Between the lusher south and arid north of the country Guanajuato is located. Geographically it is a part of the Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt, Sierra Madre Oriental and the Mexican Plateau. Due to mineral deposits found around the capital city of Guanajuato, the Spanish initially settled them in 1520s, for agriculture and livestock areas such as the Bajio region also became important. For the state's economy the traditional mainstays were mining and agriculture. The state's GDP is accounted by industry today, about 30% which includes leather goods, processed foods, metals, automobiles and more. To several historically important cities the state is home to it, especially those along the "Bicentennial Route". At Dolores Hidalgo this route begins, and though the Sanctuary of Atotonilco, San Miguel de Allende, Celaya and the capital of Guanajuato it passes. The state include Leon other important cities the most populous and Irapuato.

With the Federal District in the 31 states, Jalisco is one of them that comprise the 32 Federal Entities of Mexico. Guadalajara is the capital city and its municipalities are divided into 125. Particularly outside Mexico, Mexican culture traits many of the characteristics such as mariachi, ranchera music, tequila, jaripeo, etc, that are originally from Jalisco. In Western Mexico Jalisco is located. It surroundings are bordered by the states of Nayarit to the northwest, Zacatecas, Aguascalientes and San Luis Potosi to the north, on the Ocean of Pacific, Jalisco has a significant share of coastline to the west, Colima and Michoacan to the south, and Guanajuato to the east. The fourth most populous federal entity in Mexico is Jalisco. In terms of cultural, trade and economic levels Jalisco is also one of the most developed in the country. Comparing that is found in countries like Spain and Italy, the state have a standard of living in some municipalities. Due to the widespread economic inequalities found in the state, this standard of living is not representative of all of the state's municipalities, like in the rest of Mexico. The municipalities of Guadalajara includes metropolitan areas of Juanacatlan, El Salto, Tlaquepaque, Tonala, Tlajomulco de Zuniga, Ixtlahuacan de los Membrillos and Zapopan. After Mexico City, the second largest metropolitan area was formed in Mexico.

After Jose Maria Morelos the city was named, who was the hero of the Mexican War of Independence. In Western Mexico Michoacan is located. The states are bordered by Colima and Jalisco to the northwest, Mexico to the east, Guerrero to the southeast, Guanajuato and Queretaro to the north, to the southwest on the Pacific Ocean Michoacan has a stretch of coastline. From Nahuatl Michhuahkan the name Michoacan is defined, michhuah and -Kan means "place of the fishermen" it is referred to the people who fish on Lake Patzcuaro. The empire soon became a separate province over the colonial period, which became smaller after the Spanish conquest. In the Mexican War of Independence, a major role was played in the state and several of its residents. To Otomis, Nahuas and P'urhepecha people, the state is still home today to a large population. On agriculture, fishing, mining and some industry the economy is based. The Lake Patzcuaro-Tzintzuntzan-Quiroga area, is the major tourism draw for the state of the P'urhepecha empire, which was the centre.

Nayarit state is formally recognized by Estado Libre y Soberano de Nayarit or Free and Sovereign State of Nayarit in English. It is a part of the 31 states which, with the Federal District. The state of Nayarit situated in the west of Mexico shares its boundaries with the northwest c Sinaloa, the north side lies the Durango, the northeast Zacatecas side lies the northeast, the south side lies the Jalisco and the west side lies the coastline on the Pacific Ocean. Marias, Isabel, Tres Marietas and Farallon La Pena are the major islands of the state. The total area of the state of Nayarit is 27,620 square kilometers or 10,664 square miles.

Formally the state of San Luis Potosi is known as Estado Libre y Soberano de San Luis Potosi or Free and Sovereign State of San Luis Potosi in English. It is one of the 31 states with the Federal District. It is incorporated with the 32 Federal Entities of Mexico. There are 58 municipalities in it. The name of the capital city is same as that of the state San Luis Potosi. Positioned in North-Central Mexico the state shares its margins with on the northeast side it has Nuevo Leon, on the east it has side Tamaulipas and Veracruz, on the south side it has Hidalgo, Queretaro, and Guanajuatoo and on the northwest side it has Zacatecas. Ciudad Valles, Matehuala, and Rioverde are few of the major cities of the state apart from the capital city. The total area of the state is 24,417 sq mi or 63,240 sq km. The climate of the state of San Luis Potosi is normally gentle and dry. The state is loaded with silver, gold, copper, zinc, and bismuth deposits. Mining is a common feature here. The state has many remains of the Huastec Indians.

There are 32 Federal Entities of Mexico in Zacatecas. It is included with 58 municipalities in it. Zacatecas city is the capital city of Zacatecas state. The state is situated in the large central flat terrain in the North-Central of Mexico. The boundaries to state are in the northwest there is Durango, in the north there is Coahuila, in the east there are San Luis Potosi and Nuevo Leon, in the west there is Nayarit, and in the south there are Jalisco, Guanajuato and Aguascalientes. There are prosperous deposits of silver and other minerals in the state of Zacatecas. The majestic structural design has its significance in the Mexican revolution. The mining, farming and tourism are major sectors which influence the economy of Zacatecas state. The synonym for the name of the state is "a place where grass is abundant" in Nahuatl language.
