Monaco is also known as the Principality of Monaco is a small independent city-state located in South Western Europe on the northern central coast of the Mediterranean Sea.       Monaco School Information
Monaco has ten state-operated schools, including: seven nursery and primary schools; one secondary school, College Charles III. Lycee provides general and technical training. Lycee Albert 1er provides occupation and hotel training. Lycee technique ET hôtelier de Monte-Carlo. They are two grant-aided sponsored private schools including institutions François d'Assise Nicolas Barre and Ecole des S?urs Dominicaines, and one international school, the International School of Monaco. The syllabus is identical to France, but the curriculum is designed to give pupils an international perspective and additional language classes and classes on Monegasque history and culture are offered from the elementary school phase. The school runs four terms and started in early September. There are 10 state-operated public schools in Monaco.

      Monaco Country History
In the 6th century, Monaco's name comes from the convenient Phocaea Greek colony. According to an ancient legend, Hercules passed through the Monaco area and turned away the previous gods. It has been ruled by the House of Grimaldi from 1297, when Francesco Grimaldi and his men winning the castle protecting the Rock of Monaco while he was dressed as a Franciscan monk - a Monaco in Italian, although this is a coincidence as the area was already known by this name. French Revolutionary forces captured Monaco and it remained under French control until 1814. In 1815 the principality was established that year, only to be designated a protectorate of the Kingdom of Sardinia by the Congress of Vienna. It is remained in this position before 1860. There was unrest in the towns of Mention and Roquebrune, which declared independence, hoping for annexation by Sardinia at the time. In 20th century Until the Monegasque Revolution of 1910 forced the adoption of the 1911 constitution, the princes of Monaco were absolute rulers. In July 1918, a settlement was signed providing for limited French protection over Monaco. In 1943, the Italian army occupied Monaco, setting up a Fascist administration. On April 19, 1956, Prince Rainier married the American actress Grace Kelly; a new constitution was taken in 1962 extinguish capital punishment. In 2002, a new settlement between France and Monaco specified that, it is a successor to carry on Grimaldi dynasty. Prince Rainier died on 6 April 2005, after an administration of 56 years, and his son, by Princess Grace, accomplished him as Albert II, Sovereign Prince of Monaco. His succession to the Monegasque throne was a two-step event, with a further ceremony, and held on 19 November 2005 at the historic Prince's Palace in Monaco-Ville.

      Monaco Country Government
Monaco has been governed as a constitutional kingdom from 1911, with the Sovereign Prince of Monaco as head of state. The government consists of a Minister of State, who conducted over a five-member Council of Government. The Minister of State was a French citizen appointed by the prince from among candidates proposed by the French government before 2002. On March 3, 2010, Prince Albert II appointed the Frenchman Michel Roger as Minister of State. The prince shares his power as a legislative assembly National Council under 1962 act. The twenty-four members of this legislative body are elected by universal suffrage for five-year terms. The positions of local affairs are directed by the Communal Council, consist of fifteen elected members and are presided over by the mayor. They usually meet twice to vote on the budget and sanction laws proposed by the prince. The administrations of the 4 quarters are controlled by the Communal Council consists of 15 elected members and is presided over by a mayor. The state and the ruling Grimaldi family directly own significant real estate assets and equity in the economy.

Looking for furnished rental for July 2012
I would like to vacation this summer in Monaco for the month of July. My husband and I are looking for a furnished and air conditioned rental up to US$4,000.00 for the month. A well located apartment with nice views and amenities in any of the surrounding regions would be acceptable. Looking forward to your reply
