Kauai is one of the main Hawaiian Islands, number of people known as "Garden Island", it covers an area of 562.3 square miles, geographically it is the largest Island in Hawaii and it is the 21st largest island in the United States. Kauai Recreation, Culture and Attractions

Kauai History
In the year of 1778 the British Adventurer Captain James Cook was first settled in the Kauai Waimea Bay. He was named after the Earl of Sandwich "Sandwich Islands," Cook discovery the world was introduced to Hawaii. In this period western exploration was the reign of King Kamehameha undertaking to unify the Hawaiian Islands. Finally the Kauai King Kaumualii peacefully unites with Kamehameha and the Hawaiian Kingdom decided to join the rest. In 1815-17, Kaumualii Russia's military support against Kamehameha's attempt to achieve secret talks with personification of the Russian-American Company which however the negotiations folded. It is known that they do not have the support of Tsar Alexander I. Old Koloa Town was opened the first sugar mill in 1835. Today Old Koloa Town learns more about Kauai gardens of the last steps in the Koloa Heritage Trail. North Shore is a tour of the National Register of Historic Places Waioli Mission House Missionary in the 19th century.
