Central Florida is the area of the U.S. state of the Florida. Central Florida name implies it is usually said to be the central part of the state, Different sources give different definitions for the region, including the Orlando area.In addition to North and South Florida Central Florida is one of Florida's top known "directional" regions. Central Florida's boundaries are not stable like all domestic areas and Defined differently by different sources.Including the Florida Department of Transportation, The states economic development Agency identifies central Florida as one of the eight economic regions of "Central Florida".

      Central FL Geography
Central Florida is a combination of wetlands, Cypress forests, pastures, and coastline and is mostly flatland with important amounts of open space and over 1,500 lakes and lakes. Along the Atlantic Coast there are above 100 miles of coastline in Central Florida. Summers are hot and humid with elevated temperatures averaging 92 F. Peak summer heat normally comes in early June and carry on to early October and winters are dry and temperate with the average winter high temperature in Orlando is 72 F. The combination of high temperatures and humidity, opposing sea airs from both the Gulf and Atlantic coasts, results in important thunderstorm action from July to September for the interior counties. Specifically Central Florida often referred as "Thunderstorm capital of the USA".
