The city of Beijing is the capital and largest city of People's of Republic of China. It is situated on the North China Plain in the north-central part of the country. The city is most populous cities in the world. The city has 19,612,368 in 2010 estimation. In urban population wide the city is second largest city in China. It has able with rare cultural heritage by its long history. Beijing is home to the Great Wall, one of the world wonders and the only piece of man-made architecture that can be seen from the space, meanders during mountains and valleys for hundreds of kilometers in the region of Beijing. The city total area is 16,807.8 square kilometers. The city is proper includes 4 districts they are Dongcheng District, Xicheng District, Chongwen District and Xuanwu District. The city of Beijing is famous for its opulent palaces, temples, and huge stone walls and gates. Beijing has had a colorful and charming history, from its days as the noble majestic "center of the world" to revolution, foreign occupation, and civil war in the twentieth century. The city has full assurance to advance at a greater pace in the 21st century. Throughout the last two decades of the twentieth century, Beijing was distorted yet again, as the economic liberalization and innovation of the post-Mao Zedong era turned the before austere Communist capital into a full of go commercial metropolis and tourist center and home to a thriving consumer economy. Beijing Recreation, Culture and Attractions
The city Beijing has historical culture and it is a recreational center in China. There was a legend in China motto that the Heaven had nine floors and the ninth floor was the place where the Heavenly Emperor lived. The city has hosted several international and national sporting events. The city has famous outdoor activities include tennis, golf, miniature golf, badminton, squash, horseback riding, kite flying, martial arts, swimming, and the modern sport of paintball.

Beijing History
Beijing history is the history of a country. Beijing is a city with more than 3,000 years of recorded history and a centuries-old wonderful development. Verification of human descent dating back to 700,000 years ago has been found in such places as Zhoukoudian in the southwest part of Beijing, where the remains known as 'Peking Man' were found. According to the oldest records, Beijing was first named as Ji. In 1045 BC, Beijing had become the capital of Ji, Yan as well as the following dynasties. It is a most important city as well as the most important business hub in China ever since 221 BC when Qin Shi Huang unified the whole nation of China. The present name "Beijing" comes from more than 500 years ago during the Ming Dynasty. During the period of 1644-1911 the botanical garden was constructed. On October 10, 1911, the Bourgeois Democracy Revolution erupted in China, and in next year's February, the monarch of Qing Dynasty was required to proclaim his abdication thus ended the last Chinese feudal empire and the history of Beijing as the imperial capital was over. As the central gateway of China, Beijing was military land and the sight of many battles in Chinese history. Beijing had been the capitals for many dynasties throughout the history. Since the independent of China in 1949, Beijing was over become the capital of People's Republic of China. Now the city is appearing in the world in its grand, lovely, fresh and efficient guise, and altering with each passing day.

Beijing Tourism
Beijing is one of the most visited tourist cities in the world. The city is home to many attractions in Beijing. Tourism is the major sector in the city's economic development. The arrival of visitors has spurred new hotel construction and the restoration of existing facilities. The city's tourism will be the major Tourism in China; we believe the capital city will attracts more and more tourists travel to Beijing. Beijing's tourism industry has the power to resist risks greatly improved, as long as the adjustment of marketing and services, the crisis can be bowed into opportunities. Beijing Transportation
Beijing is a center of transportation with roads, highways, railroads and flights linking all parts of China as well with the major cities around the world. The city highways are spread out outward in all directions from Beijing: northeast to Chengdo; eastward to Tangshan; southeast to Tanggu and Tianjin; southward to Hengshui, Baoding, and Shijiazhuang; southwest to Laiyuan; and northwest to Zhangliahou. Most of the people used mode of passenger transportation in China, and Beijing is the nation's rail center, serving as the terminus for many rail lines. There are four main train stations in Beijing, of which the major is the newly built West station in the southwest part of the city. Almost every city in China, as well as many towns, can be reached from Beijing by train. The city is home to Beijing Capital Airport it is placed about 30 kilometers northwest of the central city and it is a China's major international airport. Beijing is also a kingdom of bikes, the primary mode of moving transportation used in Beijing.

Beijing Government
The city of Beijing has its own elected and appointed government officials and it is one of three municipalities in China. Beijing's major governing body at the municipal level is the People's Congress of Beijing Municipality, which has budget, taxation, and administrative responsibilities.
