Edzer was very helpful, friendly, and understanding. I only lived in one of his rooms (on 113th street) for around a month and a half before moving out of the city, but he made everything very easy, from monthly rent payment to moving in and moving out. I would very strongly recommend him to any young professional looking to sublet an apartment in New York City.

Roommates have great personalities and respectable.Quiet most of the time.The rooms are always clean. Each room has a personality also.The building is pretty secure with camera & security guard.Few steps from the laundry and building management office.Right across from 3 Express Train. Takes about 30min to get to downtown midtown.I have lived on the 158th West and the 1 train will easily travel 45 min or more to midtown

The landlord is a well educated gentalman. Well rounded and easy going. Very professional at what he does. Went thought all the proper procedure with his tenants. Actually match the correct person(s) to roommate with.Originally I wanted to stay for 3 months but had another offer that I couldnt refuse. Edzer was kind enough to let me stay at this location for 1 month. The apartment was clean and cozy. The area is beautiful. Very close to the train station and Central Park North. The roommates are great. Made me felt really comfortable being apart of this great city.

I have lived for three months with Edzer, in one of his apartments. I was having trouble to find a suitable place for just three months, but when I saw Edzers ad and sent him an email, in a few days we settled the contract. The apartment was quite good and very nicely located. Edzer is a very thoughtful person, always trying to make things easier and looking for how to keep improving the way things work. If you want a trustful person and place, this is your best option.

Edzer is a really great guy! We should photocopy him and scatter to make the world a better place!:) But to mention facts too, I was urgently looking for a place to live at here in Manhattan. Ed replied withing a few hours already, in the middle of the night. I wanted to check out the places he mentioned asap, he arranged it as I wished. And I ended up in a really nice place for a great price, and made an true new friend in the person of Ed.

Overall, the apartment was good for what I needed. Edzer Alexis is one of the few people that I found that rents for short term periods. The apartment was nice and fully furnished. Aside from a few instances outside the control of myself or Edzer, the time I rented from him was good.

Hello,I live in room #1 over the summer in 2012. The apartment was clean, had good furniture, and the roommates were all professional/grad students and respectful. Having a washing machine and dryer in the apartment was a nice extra perk.The location is ok; easy access to the 2/3 express trains and the B/C local trains. Can also walk over to the east side (~10 minutes) and take the 6 train. Three blocks away from Central Park which is nice to visit on the weekends.The landlord is good and readily available via cell/email.Overall, this is a really good deal for a furnished apartment in Manhattan.

This review is written for the landlord, Edzer Alexis. I had the pleasure of meeting Edzer one year ago, while I was searching for my first apartment in New York City. While finding an apt can be stressful at times, Edzer alleviated this burden by acting in an incredibly accommodating and professional manner. Edzer and I have become good friends over the course of the year, and I have nothing but great things to say about him. While there were minimal issues with the apt, Edzer was always on top of dealing with management, utility companies, etc. Edzer cares very much for the well-being of his tenants, and this characteristic separates Edzer from most other landlords. The apt in and of itself was wonderful: fully furnished, all utilities included, etc. As I said above, my experience was excellent, and Edzer is a fantastic landlord. Thank you.

I am writing to fully endorse Mr. Edward Alexis as a landlord. First, Mr. Alexis was prompt in replying to me. This was very reassuring, as time is usually of the essence when searching for an apartment. Next, Mr. Alexis was incredibly kind, and willing to take time out of his busy schedule to meet at my convenience. Mr. Alexis did not push the most expensive apartment, but rather gave me options which would best suit my price range. Finally, Mr. Alexis went above and beyond what was required of a landlord. When we contacted him that the internet service was not installed by the provider, he was immediately on the phone with the cable company, and he then made it a point to personally come over and tend to the problem until it was solved.

Edzer has been very helpful in the 8 months that I have lived here (W 113th & Saint Nicholas). I had a bit of tension with one of the roommates early in my stay, and he was extremely helpful in mediating the situation. In addition, he was has been quick to address any special requests that we have had. I would recommend to rent through him if youre looking for a stress-free renting situation.

I rented a room in this apartment for 2 months and can highly recommend it. The price is about average. The apartment is very central (12min. to Times Square, 5 min. To Central Park). The landlord is very professional and everything went perfectly. I always felt safe in the area.

l appartement est vraiment super! A deux minute de central park et du metro donc 15 minutes pour acceder au centre de la ville!Le proprio Edzer est tres sympa et amical il nous fourni tout les elements necessaire et reste a disponibilite pour tout autre renseignement.l appart est tres joliment meuble et decore ,tres clean, nous y sommes tres comfortable!!! I have been here since 4 months and this is a very nice place to live. The owner is friendly and the neighbors are all very polite. During the winter the apartment is always warm! The apartments is kept in nice conditions, it is well furnished, very clean and it has large common area. It is close to everything I need (grocery stores, banks, 2-3 train, etc.). Also, there is central park two block away where I often go jogging.Noise can be an issue -- the walls are somewhat thin. Certainly would recommend to a friend, though.

The landlord met me promptly each time, from the first visit to the lease signing to move-in day. He has messaged me since my arrival to check that things are going smoothly.The apartment is in fine condition. The kitchen is satisfactorily appointed, and the A/C units work well.

I had a fantastic experience w/ this landlord and apartment in general. The landlord is extremely attentive to your needs and concerns. The roommates each have their own personal rooms, so it is very easy to find time to yourself if you want. The kitchen is a little small but definitely very usable (I cooked in it every night without a problem). Ive never had any problems transportation wise: the A train always stops right at 181st street, and when friends come to visit they always marvel at how close the subway is to my apartment. The neighborhood is great, though you might not hear much English. As a young woman, Ive never felt in danger or threatened at all, no matter what time I get home (6 PM or 4 AM).
