Im looking for one short / long term roommate for my 2BR apartment on the upper west side of Manhattan, close to Columbia University and City College (140th street between Broadway and riverside). Very quiet block! Heres a little info about the room and apartment: 2 blocks to the uptown/downtown # 1 train. 1 minute walk to # 4, 5 & 11 buses(20-25 minutes to midtown). Neighborhood is very safe and beautiful with many parks and in the area. Laundromat right on broadway including one in the basement of the apartment building. Many convenient little shops, banks, pharmacies and restaurants very close. Room is not fully furnished but you will inherit some furniture including a futon frame and mattress. The apartment is furnished with necessary kitchen utensils. Bedroom faces west and gets lots of sunlight (two big windows). Within walking distance to several parks. Unfortunately no pets allowed!! The room is available in January or February. Move in could be negotiated and rent pro-rated for your flexibility. You will be living with a responsible female who is clean and friendly. Your roommate is laid back, respectful of others, clean and tidy and picks up after herself and would expect the same of a potential roommate. Smoking and drugs are not allowed please.
