Queens Village Overview
Queens Village was one of the oldest settlements on Long Island, this
area was originally called Little Plains. Later they changed the name to
"Queens" because of the county the area was located in. After realizing that
this would cause tons of confusion, because of the borough name they added
the word "village". Queens Village is home to many ethnic groups and is made
up of one and two family homes. Most of the shopping areas are located along
