Malba Overview
Malba,
Queens located at the northern tip of Queens and is adjacent to Whitestone. Malba was named by the Malba Land Company who were the first to
develop that area. Today, as it was in the past, Malba is a private
community of large homes and vast landscaped gardens.

Malba was mostly settled by eastern European immigrants, lately it has seen
a influx of many immigrants from all over, but mostly from Latin American
countries.

mostly consist of separate standing one and two-family homes. General rents
in the area includes studio from $650-$800, one bedroom from $850-$1050, or
two bedrooms from $1000-$1350.
Malba Transportation & Commuting
Most commuting is done via the New York City Subway, by the "7"
train. The "7" train can have you in Midtown in 30 minutes, and in
Downtown in
45 minutes. One can also commute via express bus which runs often and takes
about 45 minutes barring any traffic delays. |
