Flushing Overview
As one of the original four areas in Queens, Flushing spanned the entire northeastern part of county. Flushing is made up of a few different areas which include Murray Hill, Queensboro Hill, and Linden Hill.  Flushing is filled with many parks, stadiums, retail stores, and restaurants.  Almost all of the commerce and large residential buildings can be found "Downtown" near Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue.  Flushing is home to Shea Stadium, where you can see the New York Mets, and Flushing-Meadows Corona Park.  Flushing-Meadows Corona Park houses the New York tennis center which is the location of the U.S. Open tennis tournament.  Flushing is a easy 30 minutes commute to Manhattan, and an area with many things to do, which makes it an ideal place for families to reside.
