Bayside Overview
Bayside was
settled in the 17th century, after Flushing was established. Bayside's name
comes from the location of this area, in reference to Little Neck Bay.
Bayside's schools are among the best in New York City. Bayside is also
known for its waterside dining, as well as its night-time entertainment in
establishments along the shore line of Little Neck Bay. Bayside's main
shopping and commercial district is located along Northern Blvd and Bells
Blvd.

medium sized families. Bayside has an international influence, with

country. Besides the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR), which can get you to
Penn Station in approximately 25 minutes, you will need a car. The closest
New York City subway is at the Main Street station in Flushing. |
