Going to the Movies is an affordable form of entertainment, despite ever rising ticket prices while DVDs and Blu-Ray Discs can bring the same entertainment into your home. There are thousands of different movies to choose from in a variety of genres, such as action, drama, comedy, horror, romance and more.

Movies, DVDs and Blu-Ray Discs Recommendations
There are plenty of sites you can find movie times for at your local theater. For example, movies.yahoo.com only needs your local zip code to display all area theater time tables. Watching movies at home can be done through various formats. While the VHS (Video Home System) cassette tapes are getting difficult to find, they are still out there to be found, and are usually priced lower than any other format. DVD ("Digital Versatile Disc" or "Digital Video Disc") is still the standard and relatively affordable. Blu-Ray discs are the high definition format of choice after winning their war with HD DVD. HD DVD discs and players are still available, but HD DVD players are an affordable option for up-converting your existing DVDs to HD resolution. Some movies are available via download on the internet at sites like Amazon, Apple and others. Renting movies is still popular - you can get on demand movies from your television provider or go to your local video store. Most of the bigger retailers, like Blockbuster, have online services that will mail the movies directly to your home.

I love to rent movies
I love to rent movies since it is much easier and convenient than going to the movies. I love blurays movies since they are so clear and the audio is amazing on them as well.
