| Homejoy - Cleaning company I have used |
| They charge $20 per hour with 2.5 hour minimum.
They provide all cleaning supplies.
Below is the review I sent to my friends who, like me, manage vacation rentals. We go through a lot of maids as our schedule is NOT regular.
Homejoy gives a free cleaning for every three referrals. If you use them, please let them know Michelle @ Baxter five sent you.

Success! The cleaner they sent, Alex, was a really hard worker.
My first appointment was set for Easter Sunday. However; our tenant checked out 3 days early, so I rescheduled - didnt want to work on a holiday.
We didnt have much for Alex to do in the Maple, so we used him in our home as well. BTW, no complaints about having to work at more than 1 address.
Alex was scheduled to work only 2.5 hours. We let him know from the start, we didnt want to go over.
My mom recently moved into my home, so we have ALOT of furniture. When Alex brought out the mop at the tail end of his time, my mom started moving some of her boxes on to the rug, so I helped. What was behind the boxes, Ill leave to your imagination, but Alex appeared embarrassed. I pulled out a hand broom, so he could just wrap up the mopping, but Alex insisted on bringing his mini-vac.
Alex probably gave us an additional 15-20 minutes off the clock.
Alex brought excellent cleaning products and tools that worked really well. We tipped him, of course, but how was he to know we would? He brought a genuine shine to every room he touched! Though Alex was very good; he believes hes nothing special - every cleaner is as good as himself. You decide.
