It is FREE to post "Standard" advertisements provided that you are not a real-estate agent or charging commission fees. However, we recommend that you chose a "Premium" advertisement for $9.95 & up. Premium listings receive 50% more exposure.

Why renew listings?

Email addresses are NEVER revealed to any parties and all email communications between rental parties are forwarded through our mail servers
Exact rental addresses are NEVER asked for to protect your privacy. Cross Streets are used to provide approximate locations.
Credit Card information is processed at Entrust secured and encrypted files.
Credit Card information is NEVER stored by Sublet.com

            - Your ID is your full emails address (@website.com)

Step 2 - Close all open windows and open a new browser

What is the reason to change my password?

Changing your password frequently adds another layer of security. The greater the likelihood that someone knows or can guess your password if you didn't change the password for a long time. If you think someone knows your password, change it immediately.

My listing is not a Sublet
Sublet.com is a marketplace for all types of rentals, not just for sublets.  Potential tenants come to our sites to rent apartments, sublets and rooms of all varieties.

In addition, we have 3 websites to help landlords rent their vacancies.

  • Sublet.com  -All types of rentals:  Long & Short Term - furnished & unfurnished apartments & roommates
  • Cityleases.com   -Long Term Furnished & Unfurnished rentals
  • Metroroommates.com  - For all types rooms and roommates housing

As long as you are not a real estate agent or do not charge agency fees, you can list any variety of apartment and room.

Completing the Rental Questions

Selecting a rental price 
  1. Include a monthly price if your rental is for more than 30 days
  2. Include a weekly price if you would rent for less than 45 days
  3. Include a daily price if you would rent for less than 15 days

Important note:
Users that searching for weekly or daily rentals will only see your advertisement if you have included a weekly and daily price.

 
Describing your rental
The other details field is limited to 450 characters. TO maximize this limit, abbreviate where ver possible. The More information that you enter in this section, the better your traffic. At a minimum, this field should describe the Space, neighborhood & lease term.

All descriptions are edited to comply with Fair Housing Laws

  1. OPEN-  lease term is flexible
  2. 1 TO 3 Months -  lease term if flexible within 1 to 3 months
  3. 3 TO 6 Months - lease term if flexible within 3 to 6 months
  4. MIN 3 Months - 3 month minimum rental with no maximum stay
  5. MIN 6 Months - 6 month minimum rental with no maximum stay
  6. MIN 1 Year     - 1 Year minimum rental with no maximum stay
  7. YR ROUND SHORT TERM -  Short term rentals available all year
  8. EXACT DATES -  rental term ends at a specific Date

You can add your URL when creating a user account.  This URL will appear with your contact information to all registered (paid) users.

Important Note:
Do not add a URL in place of photographs! 
Your URL will not be available with your listing details and will not be seen by all users. Make sure to add photos in addtional to your URL

Offering rebates to tenants

Offering rebates will increase your listings exposure and help you to fill your vacancy faster. Any rebate selected is to be reduced from the first rent payment for all Sublet.com, Cityleases.com or Metroroommates.com tenants. Rebates are not required, but are a valuable incentive for tenants.
